Fr. Tete is the President of St. Xavier’s University College in Jharkhand, India, and a board member of the Xavier Institute for Tribal Education, Jamsheduphur. He holds a doctoral degree in English from Ranchi University, master’s degrees from Ranchi University and Dehli University. Fr. Tete was honored by the State Government in the field of higher education in 2008. He is the author of “Catholic Education in India: Challenge, Response, and Research” in International Handbook of Catholic Education, 2007, vol. 2. Fr. Tete’s recent publications include, Glossary of Kharia (dialect) language, and three articles for Journaland. He is a member of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore.
