Introducing Emily Torres, the newest addition to Healing Earth’s team. Currently a senior at Loyola University Chicago, Emily is set to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
At 18 years old, Emily converted to the Catholic faith, which led to her developing a profound interest in theology and philosophy. Delving into the intersections of these disciplines became her passion. It was this passion that led her to Healing Earth, where she saw a unique integration of science, ethics, and theology.
Following graduation, Emily intends to relocate to North Carolina where she will teach bioethics philosophy at Charlotte Catholic High School. We are thrilled for her future plans and cannot wait to see the valuable contributions she will bring to the Catholic scientific community!
