Dr. Jesse B. Manuta is a member of the Board of Trustees of FPE3 (Fostering People’s Education, Empowerment and Enterprises) and a member of the Experts Advisory Panel of the Foundation for the Philippine Environment in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. He holds a doctoral degree in Urban Affairs and Public Policy with a concentration in Energy and Environmental Policy from University of Delaware, a master’s degree in Environmental Studies with cognate emphasis in Agrarian Studies from the University of the Philippines and a bachelor of science degree in Chemical Engineering from Ateneo de Davao University in the Philippines. Dr. Manuta is interested in climate change adaptation, ecological justice, and global environmental change, and vulnerability and disaster risk governance. He has authored and co-authored various scholarly publications on climate change adaptation, vulnerability assessment, and disaster management.
